Our Story

Company

Arzanya is a biotech platform designed to answer the needs of pharma companies by selecting highly specific biomolecules for therapeutic applications. Its name is derived from the word “arzanà” first used by Dante Alighieri in the Divine Comedy to indicate the mighty Arsenal of the Venetian Republic (Serenissima). Nowadays, Venice offers other biotech-based arsenals made of biomolecules, such as our genetically-encoded peptides, to face cancer spread as well as autoimmune and neurodegenerative diseases.

Pharma challenges are our challenges, we tackle them with innovative technologies, research experience and flexible approaches. Combining the expertises of leading research institutions, such as the EPFL in Lausanne (Switzerland) to the MIT in Boston (USA), Arzanya keeps on growing.
